Terms & Conditions

Use of Forsyth County Recent Arrests means acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not access or use the site.

This privately owned site has no affiliation with Forsyth County, FCSO, the LEDC, NCDAC, or any government body, sheriff, jail, court, police agency, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers consumer reports or services for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. The site is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference resource. It stores no official roster, booking record, court file, or mugshot and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, or file documents with an agency.

Its purpose is to point visitors toward Forsyth County and North Carolina jail, court, custody, and public-record resources, along with optional outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

  • Use the site only in a lawful manner.
  • Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
  • Do not make employment, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site content.
  • Do not attempt access to accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
  • Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
  • Do not interfere with the service or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports

Forsyth County Recent Arrests is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use any site content for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

  • hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions;
  • tenant selection or housing screening;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
  • license, permit, or government-program eligibility; or
  • any other decision regulated by the FCRA.

External Services and Links

Links may lead to FCSO rosters, police booking or report tools, North Carolina courts, NCDAC, legal-aid resources, federal locators, and private search services. A link does not endorse the destination. We do not control its content, data practices, price, availability, or terms, which visitors should review independently.

Service Without Warranties

The site and its contents are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made regarding:

  • accuracy, completeness, or currentness;
  • continuous or uninterrupted access;
  • freedom from errors, defects, or security weaknesses; or
  • the coverage or quality of a partner’s search results.

Custody and public records change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from FCSO, the LEDC, NCDAC, a court, or another public agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and those involved in operating it are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its operators, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees resulting from your use of the site or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise stated, the text, graphics, logos, design, and code belong to Forsyth County Recent Arrests or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may be changed at any time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted, and continued use after posting indicates acceptance of the revision.

Suspension of Access

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

North Carolina Law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina. Public records held by state and local agencies remain subject to applicable North Carolina law, including G.S. Chapter 132, rather than these private-site terms.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
